Getting Qualified
To implement PRINCE2 in your project, you will not need any qualifications of exams as such. However, there are certifications that you can get and those will help you as an addition to your resume. The formal PRINCE2 certificate demonstrates that one can effectively manage projects using the PRINCE2 methodology. There are many organizations that will require their staff to have the PRINCE2 certification. These staff usually include the people who will manage the projects. PRINCE2 certifications have two levels. These are the PRINCE2 Foundations and PRINCE2 Practitioner.
The PRINCE2 Foundation certification is for ones who have some job experience as a project manager and currently is managing some projects or so. The other certification, or the PRINCE2 practitioner is for those who aspire to become project managers in the future. These qualifications are not compulsory, but help a lot in the long run while building a career.
